Techniques: machine piecing, hand quilting
Description: 18 blocks, each measuring 10.25" x 10.25M,  set on point. The baskets are blue with a white background fabric. There is a triple sashing blue/white/blue, measuring 3" in total width with 3" nine patch cornerstones. There are 2 borders on the quilt: #1" deep blue measuring 1.75" in width. then outer border in blue floral measuring 4.75" in width
Edge Treatment: 3/8" straight grain binding machine stitched to front of quilt and hand stitched to back of quilt.
Quilting Designs: The quilt contains outline quilting, in the ditch quilting, a triangular motif on the setting and comer triangles with cable pattern in the border.
Workmanship:
Construction: excellent, points match and borders are even
Quilting: very good, heavy amount of quilting on quilt
Condition/Restoration: very good. no repairs or restorations noted at time of examination of item.
